[DRE-maint] Bug#971585: diaspora: comment box is not working - no submit button

Using instructions from
https://wiki.debian.org/Diaspora/#Buster_Fasttrack.2Fpersonal_repo I 
have setup the diaspora pod, but comment box is broken, the html code 
for submit button is shown as content inside the text area and submit 
button is missing.

tried a few things,

1. replace handlebars_assets with version from rubygems.org
2. replaced jquery-ui-rails and rails-assets-jquery.ui with versions 
from rubygems.org/rails-assets.org
3. replaced uglifier with terser gem

Any help welcome.
