Hi Paul,

Thank you for your report.

We already have a new version of addr2line prepared, but it is still
waiting for rust-gimli to pass the NEW queue.

In my experience, the packages have been able to build in the past, but
became un-buildable due to the update of a dependency (in this case
rust-fallible-iterator).

I prepared an update of a set of packages, namely
rust-{object,fallible-iterator,gimli,addr2line,backtrace} with
consistent versions. However, the upload of rust-gimli landed in the NEW
queue due to having an additional bin package. The details on the
problems we currently have with that can be found in #945542. The whole
situation seems stuck and is somewhere between discouraging and
demotivating for the whole debian-rust team atm.

I take a look at this page at regular intervals, that was one of the
incentives to start working on the set of packages as described above.
Can't say for the other packages though. It is well possible that they
are in a similar situation.
