Joe,

I've already spoken with Julian Taylor concerning packaging python-zmq
for libzmq3. He is not convinced in moving python library to depend on
libzmq3 until the library itself becomes mature enough. As I was told
right now it fails on several architectures in Debian and even on
amd64 in Ubuntu. It is also troublesome to support python bindings for
different versions of libzmq in one distribution.

For the time being we can create a separate support branch for pyzmq3
and target it for experimental until the library itself and updated
python bindings appear in unstable.
