Indeed Steve is on holidays for one week (back on Aug 11th, IIRC) and
I'm, myself, mostly unavailable. I'd prefer getting a full ACK from
him before uploading the new version.
On the other hand, fixing the security issue is worth the new version
and upload and, after all, if Steve wants to make further changes to
debconf templates, we'll be able to do another upload.
So my conclusion is: if you feel confident enough for handling the
possible problems in the next 10 days, I'd say "go for it", Peter.
