[Pkg-samba-maint] winexe patch for samba4

Heya,

as I'm packaging Zenoss for Debian, I run ito the following question:
Zenoss is capable to use winexe (patch for samba4 from
http://eol.ovh.org/winexe/), so I'd like to make winexe available in
Debian. There are two options to do this: Either package it with samba
in experimental, or into a package on it's own. Due to the changes from
the patch in librpc/idl/svcctl.idl it would be probably good to create a
statically linked binary, at least as long as samba4 is not released.
Being able to install winexe without needing to install the experimental
samba part would be a good thing imho.
I'd be willing to create the necessary path for the packaging of samba.

What are your opinions on that?

Please CC me as I'm not subscribed to the list.

Thanks
