[Pkg-samba-maint] home shares enabled by default?

Agreed. This bug is more about usability than a real security issue.

The default behavior of samba stands out when you compared it with the
default setup of nfs. When nfs is installed, nothing is shared by
default. To be more general, you can also consider the default webdav
installation from apache2: the module can be loaded, but you still have
to define which directory should be shared.

It seems odd to me that samba shares the home directories by default
when the general policy seems to start a service with a minimal working
configuration.
