Here is what I propose, then.
I'm not entirely sure about which patch the changes to dynconfig.*
belong to. With the below rationale, that would be the first one,
fhs-newpatch.patch
Actually, the order of applying changes should be:
fhs-newpaths.patch: non disruptively introduce new path variables
--> could be applied by upstream without changing their
coding policy
fhs-filespaths.patch: associate files with the new paths
--> could be applied upstream without changing the default
behaviour of samba (non disruptive wrt users) but needing
them to adapt their coding policy (location for existing
files and what path to use for new stuff), thus disruptive
for developers
fhs.patch: better respect the FHS
--> could remain Debian specific as it affects the files
locations and needs documenting the transition when
upgrading
