Sigh, once trapped by Google one cannot even be inconsistent...:-)

I have only one explanation: I expect someone installing the krb5
package to be slightly more familiar with a "realm" than someone
installing Samba4.

Well, admitedly, this is a weak explanation and I'll try to improve
things..:-)
