I would be happier if the translation were at least posted to the
debian-l10n-esperanto list so that any interested parties have the
opportunity to review it, yes.

In my experience, buggy translations often lay unnoticed for quite a long
time.  I don't think maintainers should be in the position of having to
choose between different translations from multiple translators[1]; that's
why we have translation teams.

Feel free to commit this if you're comfortable with it - I myself won't do
so unless it's at least been submitted for review to the team.

[1] as a polyglot, I will still happily review translations myself and give
translators feedback - but I defer to the consensus of the translation
teams in case of dispute.
