This has indeed nothing to do with #569837. This is a new bug that
only occurs for samba 3.6 packages. Samba should be compiled with the
newly introduced --with-nmbdsocketdir configure option to set this to
/var/run/samba (we'll switch to /run later on).
I'm therefore opening a new (release critical) bug for this and I'll
fix it ASAP.
