Drat, I missed that.  That really should be in the samba package, not
samba-common.  We certainly could revert this, and instead just change
the default so the script still has soemthing to pick up.

Or we could drop plaintext support, and provide upstream with a
bellweather for if this is something we can plausibly drop in there in
the future.
