Hi,

> I am using smbclient on debian 4.9.5 to connect to samba server using protocol 3.11. It is working perfect when I use command "smbclient -e -m SMB3_11 //192.168.1.1/share -U hranislav" but when I use command smbclient -e -m SMB3_11 -L //192.168.1.1/share -U hranislav it fails. Note the difference in "-L" directive (I wish to see which services are on server). I get this: Reconnecting with SMB1 for workgroup listing.

Please test the package in testing (currently 4.13.2). Note that there
won't be stability fixes (only security fixes) for samba in buster, we
lack manpower.
