Hello! :)
Hm. Something was not working with email,
I received this your message just now,
about 5 days after it has been sent.

Ever heard of pigeon mail? :)
But pigeon *email*? Oh well ;))

I've no idea at all, hopefully soon.

The transition is ongoing in sid/unstable,
not all packages has been recompiled yet,
and some are buggy (FTBFS) when building
with python3.10.

I guess the time depends on how active
the maintainers of other packages which
makes the transition stall, are.

There's nothing we can do or should do
on the samba side besides wait. Samba
does not need any fixes/pings, it will
just work once other packages recompiles.

We're waiting for this dust to settle
down too, in order to upload 4.16.

And 5 days after pigeons took this your
message, it is still not happened.

Thanks,

/mjt
