Hi!
Can you please take a look at why sssd autopkgtests are failing with the
new samba packages? I'm not familiar with sssd, besides the common knowlege
that it is tied quite closely with ldb.
It is failing at the ldap stuf apparently, like this:
+ populate_ldap_rfc2307
+ cat
+ ldapadd -x -D cn=admin,dc=example,dc=com -w secret
adding new entry "ou=People,dc=example,dc=com"
adding new entry "ou=Group,dc=example,dc=com"
adding new entry "uid=testuser1,ou=People,dc=example,dc=com"
adding new entry "cn=testuser1,ou=Group,dc=example,dc=com"
adding new entry "cn=ldapusers,ou=Group,dc=example,dc=com"
+ configure_sssd_ldap_rfc2307
+ cat
+ chmod 0600 /etc/sssd/sssd.conf
+ systemctl restart sssd
Job for sssd.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status sssd.service" and "journalctl -xeu sssd.service" for details.
autopkgtest [15:31:23]: test ldap-user-group-ldap-auth: -----------------------]
autopkgtest [15:31:23]: test ldap-user-group-ldap-auth: - - - - - - - - - - results - - - - - - - - - -
ldap-user-group-ldap-auth FAIL non-zero exit status 1
It is not a surprise as libldb has been updated. Maybe it's
a good idea to collect the reason of the startup failure for
it, just like systemctl suggests.
Can you take a look please? The failing *sssd* tests are there on
the samba tracker page: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/samba
Thank you!
