No, at least on Salsa autopkgtest, Samba packages of version
2:4.16.0+dfsg-2 were used. But it might be that Salsa autopkgtest and
ci.debian.org's autopkgtest have different update schedules and
Salsa's autopkgtest runner already had the right Samba version, but
ci.debian.org didn't have the right backuppc version yet.

The connection is that I was aware of the bug report against backuppc
in Ubuntu due to Samba 4.15 incompatibilities with backuppc's
autopkgtests. I imported the patch back then, but forgot to upload.

When you uploaded Samba 4.16 I was reminded of that bug report in
Ubuntu and the patch fixing it.

Ah, phew! :-D

Hopefully. If not and you haven't another backuppc upload from me,
feel free to ping me again.

Yep. And thanks for caring, too!

P.S.: I'm not sure if autopkgtests listed there as regression are from
Unstable or from Testing. So we might have to wait for backuppc
migrating to testing first to make those on
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/samba and
https://qa.debian.org/excuses.php?package=samba disappear.
