Dear maintainers,

In Ubuntu, we've applied the following patch to libsdl1.2 in order to make
the package build on the ppc64el architecture. The upstream autogen.sh
script does not properly invoke libtoolize, so dh_autoreconf ./autogen.sh
only partially updates the autogenerated files; and this matters, since the
ppc64el port specifically needs an update of ltmain.sh (and other future
ports might, as well).

The changelog entry for this upload to Ubuntu was:

    - debian/rules, debian/patches/proper-autotools.patch: Fix wrong
handling of dh_autoreconf that fails to ever re-libtoolize the
package. Bypass calling autoheader, since configure.in isn't
compatible with current version of autoheader.

Thanks for considering the patch.
