From Debian libSDL maintainers, any plans for bugfix release?

That's great news, thanks!

In "libsdl2" and "libsdl2-image" we only have backported patches or
patches that we forwarded and you already commited to mercurial
(except one about removing linking against pthread, which broke some
system).

In libsdl2-ttf we have the following, to allow linking with
binutils-gold linker, which I didn't forward because it might break in
other systems as the one of pthread. It would be nice if you can add
it and doesn't break anything, but perhaps too late to include in this
release:

  http://sources.debian.net/src/libsdl2-ttf/2.0.12+dfsg1-2/debian/patches/link_libm_ftbfs_binutils-gold/

For libsdl2-mixer, we have another patch to be able to specify
soundfont paths at compile time, I don't know if you consider it
interesting:

  http://sources.debian.net/src/libsdl2-mixer/2.0.0+dfsg1-5/debian/patches/bug-715461-soundfont_paths.patch/

We then pass soundfonts from other packages rather than the default
freepats, if I recall correctly (musescore-soundfont-gm |
fluid-soundfont-gm | freepats):

  -DMIX_INIT_SOUNDFONT_PATHS=\"/usr/share/sounds/sf2/TimGM6mb.sf2:/usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2\"

Cheers.
