Package: libsdl2
Version: 2.28.3+dfsg-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I got notified by wesnoth upstream that there is a bug in SDL starting with
2.27 that will affect the upcoming wesnoth release. It was caused by a
regression in a bugfix they applied.
https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL/issues/6896
>From reading the bug report it should be a rather straight-forward fix, and
hopefully they'll include it soon in the next upsream release - but I think
having this documented here too so it doesn't get forgotten would be a nice
idea. Actually it's somewhat a release of whether SDL releases earlier or
wesnoth (although it already affects the development release of wesnoth 1.17,
which I haven't gotten around to package yet).
Cheers,
Rhonda
