[Pkg-shadow-devel] Obsolete entries in login.defs

Actually, I uncommented ALL entries in the login.defs file we supply
and just tried which ones are reported as "obsolete":

root at mykerinos:~# LC_ALL=C su - bubulle
configuration error - unknown item 'QMAIL_DIR' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'MAIL_FILE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'FTMP_FILE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'ULIMIT' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'LOGIN_STRING' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'NO_PASSWORD_CONSOLE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'CLOSE_SESSIONS' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'CLOSE_SESSIONS' (notify administrator)

I guess I can safely remove LOGIN_STRING, NO_PASSWORD_CONSOLE,
CLOSE_SESSIONS, FTMP_FILE from the supplied login.defs

ULIMIT is probably to be handled by PAM so it can safely be removed as well...
(move to the "obsoleted by PAM part at the end)

But what about QMAIL_DIR, MAIL_FILE ?

What will happen to our users who actually use these variables (we had
such reports) ?
