This seems important to me. The day I have a japaneese visitor, I still want
to understand my machine logs.=20

And, more generally, I see a gettext flaw here. We need some SYS_LC_?? and
SYS_LANG variables to that extend and specify which language the system sho=
uld
speak. But until it gets implemented (and I doubt seing this implemented one
day), the system must use the C locale when speaking to root from a user.

Maybe you guys could speak about this in the debconf presentations? No idea.
