Package: login
Version: 1:4.0.3-30.1
Severity: important

I had created several new user accounts at about 10:00 on Tue Oct 5
2004. I use libpam-ldap and libnss-ldap to store this account
information. Later that day, I had issued the 'lastlog' command to see
if any of the new users had logged into the system yet. Lastlog showed
the following information for those accounts (these are not the real
account names):

buser pts/3 66.99.20.130 Mon Feb 23 12:17:20 -0600
2004
juser pts/1 66.99.20.130 Fri Feb 13 11:54:51 -0600
2004

It is impossible that they logged in at these times, as the accounts
were not created until Oct 5 2004. I have checked the output of date,
and it shows the correct date and time.
