What problem? I believed the "problem" was the unability to change the
umask by changing a single configuration file. Once we make possible that,
the problem is solved. Those users who want an umask of 002 will
be able to change it easily, but as there is nothing in a debian system
*requiring* such umask, there should not be compelling reasons to
change the default.
