I haven't read these discussions or blogs but I trust you here if you
mention yoou think we shouldn't change things now.

Yep. I thought about it while doing a last look over patches yesterday
and I remember saying to myself "hey, Christine's patch may need
updates because of recent changes due to some new bugs closed".

I agree with the move to better debhelper use (especially dh_install).


We still have to keep the goal of simplifications of the build
system...(oh, crap, I'm sure this sentence is awful
English...Christine, correct me in private...)
