Version: 20000902-12woody1

The "chpasswd" program not use PAM for change passwÏrds. As a result we
has weak "crypt" hash in /etc/shadow.

The --md5 switch, has appeared only in SARGE.

I think it a problem of assembly passwd Òackage:
------------------------------
# ldd /usr/sbin/chpasswd
        libcrypt.so.1 => /lib/libcrypt.so.1 (0x40016000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40043000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
