Hi Russ,

How is this going?  I'm struggling with this stuff, although some
pieces already fell into place.  What hurts most ATM is that
git-buildpackage doesn't want to work without --git-ignore-new:

dh_testdir
dh_testroot
rm -f build-stamp configure-stamp
[ ! -f Makefile ] || /usr/bin/make distclean
dh_clean config/config.guess config/config.sub configure
You have uncommitted changes in your source tree:

Can you give me a hint what I may be missing?

I'm also trying to find my way through pbuilder...  Looks promising.
