Great idea.

You are invited to CC devel at lists.laptop.org for any hardware specific
discussion. support-gang@ seems to be a private list, but yet it leaks.

OLPC has a collection of Sugar activity packages that may be useful for
a quick start. Eventually I'd like to see these all in Debian, but
I've not been able to commit the resources. http://dev.laptop.org/pub/us

Disclosure statement: I'm paid by the hour for my work by OLPC Inc,
and they use parts of Debian in their software offering to customers.

Advertisement: OLPC can respond to tenders for quantities of new
laptops.
