[Pkg-sugar-devel] Why track activity version numbers?

Hi Sebastian,

Browse downloads an xo to the Journal and then apparently installs if
from there. This is a problem
for the XO since there are now two copies - one in the Journal and one
in Activities.

The Journal bases its 'resume' action on mimes handled by installed
activities Since none has the bundle mime type in its list of mime_types
the Journal does not offer to resume it.

It might be more appropriate for Browse to download to 'instance' and
after installing, erase it.

For the second problem I would use:

sugar-install-bundle sonic_jump-4.xo

Generally, I run sugar-install-bundle in the directory where it is. For
example, a bundle in the Journal can be copied to Documents (Documentos)
and then sugar-install-bundle used from there.

Tony
