[Pkg-sugar-devel] sugar install

Ongoing saga.
After trying several options without success:
downloading missing firmware files which were not found by the
installer
downloading version with firmware which failed during download
(forbidden). The download went overnight so I don't know if anything
triggered the message.
connecting to internet by router
The last attempt seemed to work although it did not set up wifi. However
after 4 hours it hung 'updating grub'. The install appears to have
minimal content on the usb drive and download everything. This is tricky
with a ISP with 50kbs download speed and subject to interruption. After
completing the download of 1400 files, it failed. However a restart of
that step started at the last file and completed.
Mistakenly I selected the graphical interface which doesn't provide any
useful error messages.
The grub portion of the install has reported problems. I think the
source is that the laptop is setup already with Ubuntu and Windows
dual-boot and so there is an existing grub setup.
