A few suggestions:

  * Use ethernet (wifi is commonly unfriendly towards Free software)
  * Maybe try unofficial install image with non-free firmware added:
    http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/
  * Seek help generally about Debian:
    https://www.debian.org/releases/testing/installmanual
    https://wiki.debian.org/QuickInstall
    https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/
