Yes, seems a great starting point for even tighter Debian integration!

I am busy right now¹ but will sure look into this!

¹ I am setting up live video streaming for a theater project - and 
packaging the tools to Debian. Hopefully it will include automatically 
adjusted bandwidth for each user - to treat also connections from jungle 
wifi with some respect. Do tell me if you see some use cases where my 
knowledge and tools might be helpful. :-)
