The build chroots should use debootstrap's --variant=buildd option. From
what I understand from /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts/sid this means
Priority: important packages are *not* installed; just required
packages, apt and build-essential. (Similar for --variant=minbase.)

Yes, I tend towards standard as well.

>From discussion in #debian-systemd is seems unlikely the private D-Bus
socket option will be implemented upstream as systemd will be moving
towards kdbus which would make this question obsolete for jessie+1.
