Heh, amen. But indeed this is quite a bit of a blocker for
contributions.

Would that also entail moving to a proper 3.0 (quilt) layout? As it is
now, it is impossible to see which changes the Debian package has
against upstream, grouped by hunks which conceptually belong together
(i. e. what pretty much every other package in the archive does).

Unrelated:
This reminds me, I still have some fixes for Debian
(http://people.canonical.com/~pitti/tmp/systemd/) laying around since
November, which Tollef and I never quite managed to get through. I'll
probably just start sending bug reports for them.
