rsyslog has support for sending messages *to* somewhere, while the gateway
is about reading messages *from* somewhere. So to funcitonality is not
equivalent. I agree that it should be a separate package, and come with
a warning, but it is a convenient way to completely open up logs, can
be useful with a VM or a machine on a controlled network.
