OK, I'll let the patch linger in my working copy and the list since it is 
trivial anyway. When/if you want to make it ready (later I've understood?), I 
will gladly help there, since it's going to be easier for me to not deviate 
much from Debian.

But note that, unless I'm missing something, the gateway is quite different in 
features from what I've found about rsyslog. In our case we need to log quite 
aggressively during development, since is mostly debugging messages that we 
add to service on an embedded device. Since we have no GUI at all, we log to 
the journal categorized messages. We can easily query the gateway for those 
with a GUI. It won't be that easy with a syslog, as I understand it.
