FWIW, I've seen the same in a different context yesterday after
upgrading to 243-5. In my case autopkgtests were hanging: The setup
I'm using is autopkgtest → schroot → LVM (snapshot) backend, and
there the `lvremove $snaphot' at the schroot cleanup stage was
hanging.

I reverted to the version in testing (242-8) which also works.

(In my case the machine is running sysvinit, so the update only
concerned udev/libudev1 and not systemd*).
