[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] sysvinit 2.86.ds1-36 in etch?

Hello.

The current sysvinit in etch breaks user-mode-linux. Last changelog
says "Medium urgency as it solve some RC bugs in etch" and update-excuses say:

    * sysvinit (2.86.ds1-20 to 2.86.ds1-36)
          + Maintainer: Debian sysvinit maintainers
          + 8 days old (needed 5 days)
          + Not touching package, as requested by freeze (contact
            debian-release if update is needed)
          + Not considered

So: Is it the plan to ask release managers to allow 2.86.ds1-36 in etch?
