[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Should we warn our users of the current breakage in unstable, and how to repair it?

Yes, I agree.  I have thought of doing this, but focused on fixing
bugs instead up to now.

I have no idea how to repair it.  Yes, we should include such info in
the annoucement.

I got the access, but am not quite sure what to write in such
annoucement.  Would very much like some help on that.

I plan to do a new upload in a few hours, so the text should be in
place before that.
