Aaron M. Ucko updated fltk to necessary 1.3 and we should be ready to
proceed.

the package builds now but upon my attempt to use it, doesn't work for
me -- ran server locally and tried to connect to it -- it sits waiting
without providing my any password prompt and then when I interrupt that
client session, server dies.  Might be a peculiarity of my laptop but
might be just my incorrect updating of the patches we carry -- e.g.
support of tcpwrappers.  I would really appreciate if someone reviews my
recent changes, and/or our patches.
