[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#564695: hal: encrypted volume shown as unmounted in Disk Mounter although mounted already

Package: hal
Version: 0.5.14-1
Severity: normal

My root filesystem resides on an encrypted volume. A couple of weeks ago, hal seems to
have started to report the encrypted volume to Gnome as "not mounted". This doesn't
make sense, the encryped volume should be hidden from view (as was the case before the
hal update, I guess).

Interestingly, the encrypted volume is reported as "157 GB", which seems to be a bit of
an exaggeration, concerning the attached list of partitions.

Cheers!

Thiemo Nagel
