Dear, Sir.

I never run modemmanager or network-manager (nm-applet) together with 
wvdial at the same time, because I know the output/log would show the 
device is busy.
I use wvdial only for alternative connection.

But for now, I think I already resolve it.

I saw these three packages when I upgraded modemmanager from 
testing/unstable to experimental.
libqmi-glib1
libqmi-proxy
modemmanager

- What I did to fix:
I uninstall those packages (--purge remove) and install again from 
testing (it seems like clean install).

Both NetworkManager Applet and wvdial are working now.
