Package: vdr
Version: 1.2.6-1
Severity: normal
dvbstream works. xine (with dvb://1 etc.) works. tzap works.
kvdr fails miserably. vdr fails miserably.
error reported: cannot find /dev/video0.
firmware is in place (tda1004x.bin, dvb-ttpci-01.fw).
kernel is debian 2.6.9 standard kernel.
... are my expectations broken or is the software broken?
so either this bug is about documentation ("cannot find clues leading to
be able to tell if this software is useful / can do the job i expect it
to do") or it's about code ("it's broken").
