libsockets package

Hi all!

First, I have to introduce myself. I'm Cleto and I'm gonna to
collaborate with you in packaging libsockets library (at this moment,
nobody knows in the future :-) ). I want to thank Tobias for including
myself in team.

I was working in the package and I have my first question. Is there
any problem that the package can not be compiled with SSL support?.
With the library "libssl-dev", libsockets builds right, but there is a
patch (for the old 2.2.5 version) that keep SSL off. So, my question
is that: is there any behavioral or license issue for not including
SSL?
