ok, sorry for being too fast on this one then. You're right it should be
done in that very patch then. I'll move it later if i don't forget about
it (for sanity, the effect will remain the same)

no. The debian/rules have a "clean-patched" followed by "unpatch" for
that. Or at least should have everywhere dpatch is used. (If you have a
proof i forgot to put it correctly, please help me spot it)
