Mark, Jerome,

I started polishing of SER related packages so that they could be integrated
into Debian.

The first one is radiusclient-ng. Radiusclient-ng is an enhanced RADIUS
client library used by several SER modules. The original library is in
debian as libradius1. Radiusclient-ng is a heavily improved version with
polished API and many bug fixes.

The source package can be downloaded from:

http://apt.sip-router.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/radiusclient-ng_0.5.2-0.2.dsc
http://apt.sip-router.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/radiusclient-ng_0.5.2.orig.tar.gz
http://apt.sip-router.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/source/radiusclient-ng_0.5.2-0.2.diff.gz

The package would build libradiusclient-ng2 and libradiusclient-ng-dev.

There is a couple of things I am not sure about:

- debian/rules runs aclocal, automake, autoconf at the beginning. Is this
  correct ?

- How should the package depend on autotools-dev, on a particular version or
just autotools-dev ? (I read the corresponding parts of debian new
maintainer guide but it is still not clear to me as it offers several
  alternatives)

- There is no conffiles -- the debhelper manpage says somewhere that
files in /etc would be marked as conffiles automatically, is that correct?

I would appreciate if you could take a look at the package and tell me
what's wrong and needs fixing. I am willing to work on that.

     thanks, Jan.
