Any plans to update Asterisk on Ubuntu

While Asterisk 1.2 is a major upgrade that will break some
configurations, I do recommend you to consider version 1.0.10 . This is
basically a bug-fixes release. Also consider any changes in the branch
1.0 of upstream (there are a few, IIRC).

Ubuntu aside, is there an interest in such a package sor Sarge (r2)?
