I'm working on packaging of 2.0 beta1, but ATM i'm qute busy. I'm
planning to join the team and to upload wengophone to pkg-voip svn as
soon as i've made a buildable version.

jgilli told me 2.0.0 will be able to work with other providers, but it
isn't a first priority target. If we can provide a patch he is very
pleased to merge it with upstream source.

About the license issues: all files in source now have a proper GPL
header even in classig and ng, and someoone (i don't remember the
name) is working on port wengophone-ng from openssl to gnutls.
