I've never understood why asterisk wasn't just patched with BRIstuff,
and why there was 2 packages to begin with. Is there anything a

In my experience, splitting up the bristuff patch into smaller
patchsets can be a real pain.
As for the feature list, start with the applications added by the
BRIstuff patch, then there's the embedded chan_capi and the BRI
support. (is there anything else ? It's been a while since I last had
to read the BRIstuff patch)
(oh would it be nice if Digium could stop there ill-advised double
licensing shit with Asterisk, wouldn't it ?)
