Thanks for your offer of assistance. Looks like you have some good voip skills we can use in the team.

Initially the best way you can contribute is through communication with the team while we get to know you. 

In particular you could reply to the traffic on the pkg-voip list. 

Next I recommend having a look at the outstanding bug reports on the BTS. Please do followup with the submitters of reports, confirm if bugs are still present in the current versions of packages and tag them as such in the BTS. If possible also work on the bugs and post patches to fix.

After you have posted a few fixes then we should have confidence to provide direct commit access to svn.debian.org
