Package: wengophone
Version: 2.1.2.dfsg0-6
Severity: important

Hi,

My qtwengophone instance refuses to login, it says "Network error".
The network is working fine through NAT without proxy
(iceweasel, evolution pidgin, skype -- everything works fine without
any setup).
The wengo account also seems fine (I can login to wengophone.com
with browser, I even see €1 on my account).
I tried removing ~/.wengophone, it still did not help.

I tried on a different network with transparent NAT (socket
connections are allowed both ways, all packets forwarded, ssh, apache,
ekiga -- all are accessible)
and there wengophone is even unstable: it seems to login half-way
(I see €1, but the network icon still "connecting") and it eventually
crashes when I click around a bit more (trying voice call test,
video call test).

Then on wengophone forum, there seems to be a few posts about login
failures there, but I could not find any solution mostly because my search
is limited to Google's French.

I found a few bugreports on earlier versions in Ubuntu and Debian,
and those were closed by a newer version of wengophone without any
hint on where the fault was (broken protocol? broken client? broken
server? login service is down?).

I'll try to attach a canvas of terminal output, maybe someone
can spot the problem from there.
