Here as well on a sid chroot, but contrary to what Tzafrir wrote, a very
minimal config file disabling the video support is enough to have
linphone-3 running:
=====
(sid-desktop)luca at gismo:~$ cat .linphonerc
[video]
enabled=0
(sid-desktop)luca at gismo:~$
=====

linphonec does not enable video support by default, which means that it
does not suffer from this bug.

Given that version 3.4.3-1 in experimental is no more installable since
it was compiled against an older libavcodec, I recompiled it and the
situation does not change: the very same minimal config file above is
enough to have linphone version 3.4.3-2~libav0.7 running.

Tzafrir, can you confirm that? If so, the title should be changed to
something like "linphone: segfaults at startup in GUI mode if video is
enabled". BTW, I guess libavcodec_5:0.8-0.1 you have installed came
From <http://www.debian-multimedia.org/>.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
